Structural empowerment, psychological empowerment, and work engagement: A cross-country study

In this cross-country study we drew on job demands-resources theory to investigate whether psychological empowerment mediates the positive association between structural and work engagement and, consequently, task performance intention quit. A total of 1033 employees working in service sector Spain (N = 515) United Kingdom 518) participated study. Multi-group equation modeling analyses revealed that partially mediated relationship engagement, associated positively with negatively Invariance suggested link was stronger for UK than Spain, providing support partial invariance hypothesized model.
